Kevanna Fine Photography was first established on May 15th, 1986 at 510 Queen St. E., Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario, Canada. Kevanna is owned and operated by Anna Pelletier, MPA, APPO, and Kevin Doble, LPPO. Anna Pelletier, MPA, APPO, was born and raised in Sault Ste. Marie, daughter of Maurice and Sylvia Pelletier. After graduating Mount St. Joseph High School Anna went on to study and graduate in the "Advanced Photography" program at Fanshaw Collage in London, Ontario. It was here where she met and was engaged to her future husband and partner Kevin Doble. After graduating Anna worked at a colour Lab in London for roughly one year, then returned to Sault Ste. Marie to work for Biagini Studio. She worked at Biagini's until her wedding, after which Anna moved to Oshawa with Kevin and started working for Bernie's Camera. Kevin Doble, LPPO, was born and raised in a small farming village in Southern Ontario. After graduating Brock High School, Kevin went on to study in the "Advanced Photography" program at Fanshaw Collage. After graduating Fanshaw, Kevin found employment at a commercial photography studio in Oshawa called "Cruysen Photography". It was during his time at Cruysen that Kevin joined the "Professional Photographers of Canada", and "Professional Photographers of Ontario" Associations. Together. While in Oshawa neither Anna nor Kevin was truly happy with their jobs and decided to open up their own photography studio. After researching the Oshawa, Whitby, Ajax, Peterborough, and Sault Ste. Marie areas, they decided that Sault Ste. Marie gave them the best opportunity at being successful. So after only seven months of marriage the two of them set out for Sault Ste. Marie full of high hopes and the support of their families. Kevanna has gone through many physical changes over the years. Starting at 510 Queen St. E., they had a reception room, and a 15x27' photography and "everything else" room. From here they moved to our current location at 388 Wellington St. E. where they lived up stairs, and used the main floor for the studio. They continued with this arrangement until just after the birth of their first daughter, Megan Marie in 1991. With both the studio and family needing more room, they moved into an apartment, and Kevanna Fine Photography took over the whole building. Today Kevanna Fine Photography is still located at 388 Wellington St. E. and is still expanding. Kevanna currently has a staff of four. Christine House is our office manager and takes care of administration and bookeeping. It is Christine's voice you will hear answering the phone, and calling you to remind you of your appointments.
